Abstract: Cricket is the second most watched sport in the world after soccer, and enjoys a multi-million dollar industry. There is remarkable interest in simulating cricket and more importantly in predicting the outcome of cricket match which is played in three formats namely test match, one day international and T20 match. The complex rules prevailing in the game, along with the various natural parameters affecting the outcome of a cricket match present significant challenges for accurate prediction. Several diverse parameters, including but not limited to cricketing skills and performances, match venues and even weather conditions can significantly affect the outcome of a game. There are number of research paper on pre-match prediction of cricket match. Many papers on building a prediction model that takes in historical match data as well as the instantaneous state of a match, and predict match results. We know in the cricket match with shorter version match result keep on changing every ball. So, it is important to predict the outcome of the match on every ball. In this paper, I have developed a model that predicts match result on every ball played. Using Duckworth- Lewis formula match outcome will be predicted for live match. For every ball bowled a probability is calculated and probability figure is plotted. For betting industry this model and the probability figure will be very useful for bettor in deciding which team to on and how much to bet.

Abstract: Topological indices have important role in theoretical chemistry for QSPR researches. Among the all topological indices the Randić and the Zagreb indices have been used more considerably than any other topological indices in chemical and mathematical literature. Most of the topological indices as in the Randić and the Zagreb indices are based on the degrees of the vertices of a connected graph. Recently novel two degree concepts have been defined in graph theory; ev-degrees and ve-degrees. In this study ev-degree Zagreb index, ve-degree Zagreb indices and ve-degree Randić index are defined by using these new graph invariants as parallel to their corresponding classical degree versions. These new group ev-degree and ve-degree indices are compared with the other well-known and most used topological indices in literature such as; Wiener, Zagreb and Randić indices by modelling some physicochemical properties of octane isomers. The ev-degree Zagreb index, the ve-degree Zagreb and the ve-degree Randić indices give better correlation than Wiener, Zagreb and Randić indices to predict the some specific physicochemical properties of octanes. The relations between the second Zagreb index and ev-degree and ve-degree Zagreb indices and some mathematical properties of ev-degree and ve-degree Zagreb indices are investigated.

Abstract: In this paper, have been found new class of solutions to the Einstein-Maxwell system for charged anisotropic matter which are relevant in the description of highly compact stellar objects. The equation of state is barotropic with a linear relation between the radial pressure and the energy density and we have considered a prescribed form for the gravitational potential Z. Variables as the energy density, radial pressure and the metric coefficients are written in terms of elementary and polynomial functions. The obtained models not admit singularities in the matter and the charge density.

Abstract: The cutting stock problem is used in many industrial processes and recently has been considered as one of the most important research topics. It is basically describes in two ways, One –dimensional and Two-dimensional Cutting Stock Problems (CSP). An optimum cutting stock problem can be defined as cutting a main sheet into smaller pieces while minimizing the total wastage of the raw material or maximizing overall profit obtained by cutting smaller pieces from the main sheet. In this study, One-dimensional CSP is discussed. Modified Brach and Bound algorithm for One-dimensional cutting stock problem is coded and programmed in the Matlab programming environment to generate feasible cutting patterns. At the same time, Cartesian coordinate points are derived from the developed algorithm. In our approach, the case study is pertained to the real data used at L.H. Chandrasekara & Brothers (Pvt Ltd) in Sri Lanka for its production.

Abstract: For interval liner programming problems, Rohn proposed four equivalence relations regarding to the upper and lower bounds of the interval optimal value. In this paper, similar problems of interval quadratic programming problem have been discussed. Some interesting properties have been proved and an illustrative example and remarks are given to get an insight of the properties.
